See how much better Google’s results would be if they included information from across the social web, rather than just Google’s own social network.
Instead of asking for résumés, the New York venture-capital firm—which has invested in Twitter, Foursquare, Zynga and other technology companies—asked applicants to send links representing their “Web presence,” such as a Twitter account or Tumblr blog. Applicants also had to submit short videos demonstrating their interest in the position.
Many of you are aware of my near 14 year battle trying to help my ex step-daughter who I raised as my own for 16+ years. I spent all of my savings on trying and getting rights to her in September 2011 to remove her from foster care. But she has mental health issues and needs full time care. Her mother is using this as an opportunity to sue me and try to regain custody after losing custody last year.
I have to come up with $10, 000 this week to be ready for our first hearing. I have never posted asking for help but I have tapped all my resources in the last 18 months and I need legal representation to place this child in a safe place where she can get help and not back in the home full of mental illness and drug abuse. The bio mother is on disability for her mental health issues. Both the mother and daughter have Border Line Personality Disorder.
Anything you can contribute would be appreciated.
Thank you so much,

Starting today, Google+ members, and to a lesser extent others who are signed into Google, will be able to search against both the broader web and their own Google+ social graph. That’s right; Google+ circles, photos, posts and more will be integrated into search in ways other social platforms can only dream about.
